Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC)

Web Mapping Service (WMS)

Catalog Service (CSW)
Catalog Service for the Web (CSW), sometimes seen as Catalog Service - Web, is a standard for exposing a catalogue of geospatial records in XML on the Internet (over HTTP).
